Privacy Policy for Dosemark

Dosemark ("the app", "we", "us", or "our") is a medication reminder and tracking app published by Toolchan Ltd. We built Dosemark to be private by design. This policy explains, in plain terms, what the app does and does not do with your information.

Short version: Dosemark has no user accounts, runs no analytics or ads, and never sends your medication data to us or any third party. Everything you enter stays on your device — and, only if you turn on iCloud sync, in your own private iCloud account.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. Dosemark has no servers that receive your data, and we (the developer) have no access to anything you enter in the app.

The content you create inside the app is stored locally on your device. This includes:

Medication names, dosage amounts, schedules, and supply counts
The times you mark doses as taken or skipped, and your dose history
Profile names you add (for example, to track medications for family members)
Your in-app settings and preferences

2. How Your Data Is Stored

On your device. All app data is saved locally on your iPhone or iPad using Apple's on-device storage.
Optional iCloud sync. If you enable iCloud sync in Settings, your data is synchronized through your own private iCloud account so it stays consistent across your devices. This data lives in your personal iCloud and is handled by Apple under Apple's iCloud terms and privacy policy. We cannot see or access it. iCloud sync is off until you turn it on, and you can turn it off again at any time in Settings.

Medication and adherence information can be sensitive. Dosemark treats it accordingly: it is never transmitted to us, never sold, never shared, and never used for advertising. It stays on your device and, only if you choose, in your private iCloud.

4. Notifications

Dosemark schedules local reminders on your device to help you take doses on time. These notifications are generated and delivered locally by your device. Their content is not sent to us or any third party. You can manage or disable them in iOS Settings → Notifications.

5. Analytics, Tracking & Advertising

Dosemark contains no third-party analytics, no advertising, and no tracking technologies. The app does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and does not track you across other apps or websites.

We do not sell, rent, or share your information — we never receive it in the first place. The only synchronization that can occur is moving your own data into your own iCloud account, which you control.

7. Children's Privacy

Dosemark does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because we collect no data, no personal information from children is gathered or stored on our side.

8. Your Control & Data Deletion

You are in full control of your data:

Deleting a medication, profile, or record removes it from the app.
Deleting the app removes its local data from your device.
If you used iCloud sync, you can remove the app's data from iCloud in your device's iCloud settings.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
